ALBERTA STUDENT LOANS
All students attending the AEC diploma and certificate programs are eligible for Alberta Student Aid funding, however, the amount of financial assistance that will be granted is dependent on your application. Factors that are taken into consideration by the government when determining financial assistance vary based on personal circumstances, the program you are enrolled in, and other unique factors. Any questions you have can be addressed by our experienced and highly trained Financial Advisors or by the links below.
In order to make education accessible to all, the AEC acknowledges that student loans and lines of credit might not be an option for some students, be it for financial, cultural or religious reasons. To accommodate these needs, the AEC does offer an Interest-Free Financing program that allows students to pay their tuition over time and interest free.
Students choosing this method of payment will pay their tuition in 4 equal payments over several months. The first payment is due at the time of the student’s enrollment and the rest will be interest- free monthly payments. The amount must be paid by the student at the beginning of every month, until the full balance has been paid.
An outstanding balance at the time of graduation will prevent students from receiving their diploma and certificate(s).
If you have any question about our Interest-Free Financing option, please speak to a Financial Advisor to discuss your options.
