In today’s busy world, worry/resulting anxiety have become barriers to the health, happiness and success of countless people of any age. If a child struggles within new situations, social interaction, changes in routine or exam-writing – the culprit may be anxiety. Even for those who manage these scenarios with ease, adopting the skills to be resilient to change are critical – as change is fundamentally expected.
Children who do not have the tools to manage anxiety may experience health-related symptoms of a physical nature (headaches, gastric challenges, sleep issues) as well as emotional presentations like outbursts and withdrawal.
This fun yet functional course is the ideal way for children to learn and practise strategies that will enable them to self-identify and manage change and anxiety effectively.
